Deagostini Japan has announced that the weekly magazine "Making the First Evangelion" will be available at bookstores nationwide (excluding some areas) and on the official Deagostini website from January 4, 2024 (Thursday). The price of the first issue is 290 yen (tax included).

This series will allow users to assemble the first Evangelion model in the "Rebuild of Evangelion" series using die-cast and other parts made of various materials.

The model prototype is designed and produced by Sakano Ryu, who is known for his figure modeling, and faithfully reproduces the Eva first plane from the "Rebuild of Evangelion" series.

The accompanying magazine thoroughly explores the world of Eva and introduces all the films in the series from multiple perspectives, from the TV series to the latest "Shin Evangelion the Movie.

■Internal mechanism and conversion parts of particular attention
The neck, wrists and hip joints are movable to reproduce the poses of the play. By replacing the mouth and hands with exchangeable parts, you can change weapons and enjoy a variety of poses.

The eyes emit light in two colors: white and red. Eva

Four hand weapons are included, including a progressive knife and palette rifle in the same scale as Eva's first plane.
