Comments】】Tomoaki Ishikawa, Yuki Kajiura, and director Mitsuo Fukuda of See-Saw

■Tomoaki Ishikawa (See-Saw Vocal & Chorus)
I am surprised and grateful to be reunited with SEED by such a chance. At that time, Mr. Ryosawa, the scriptwriter, gave me advice and gave me many insights in creating music. I have used that as a backdrop to weave the words for this theater version. I also had the opportunity to talk with Director Fukuda, and he expanded on the story from the feelings of individual characters to the war like a chat, and I was able to find the final landing point. I wondered when we had achieved something that was very SEED-like. I hope you are pleased with it. I would be happy if you are pleased with it.

Yuki Kajiura (See-Saw Keybords)
I am truly honored to have been asked to work with Tomoaki Ishikawa again on the ending theme for "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM". 20 years have passed and fans have been waiting for this new story, and I was delighted to hear that See-Saw's song was necessary for its goal. We are so happy to have been asked to write a song to send the last scene of the story.
We hope that the song will fulfill the wishes of the film and its fans.

Director Mitsuo Fukuda (Director of "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series")
First of all, thank you very much for the wonderful song. It was a strange feeling when I first heard it.
Mr. Kajiura's somewhat fantastic music and Mr. Ishikawa's lyrics, which convey a strong theme, create a wonderful worldview, and I felt as if the world of "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" 20 years ago and the present (now) were connected.
The emotional melody line, the arrangement that builds the world, and the words that connect the emotions of the characters to the emotions of the listeners were all deeply moving, and I think they perfectly represented the magnificent ending theme of the movie "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM".
The ending of the "Gundam SEED series" is symbolic. It was a magical song that synchronized with the theme of each episode and brought the emotion to a climax when I heard "We were so together. The same goes for "Kimi wa boku ni kikurenai" (You are like me). The words of the familiar narrative, rather than the world of the work, are linked to the theme of each episode and strike a chord with me.
I am convinced that "Romantics on the Way Out" will be another new song to color the end of the film.

<PROLOGUE>
C.E. (Cosmic Era).
An era in which genes are adjusted and there are humans who are born with superior physical abilities and brains (Coordinators) and humans who are born as they are (Naturals).
Ideologies of the "Coordinators" and "Naturals" clashed over their own existence, leading to a war using military force.
In the midst of the war, the "Destiny Plan," a system to create a world without competition by forcing each individual to take on a role, was proposed, but in order to protect the free future and hope of mankind, the "Destiny Plan" was rejected in the midst of the war.
The war came to an end at the cost of many lives, but the conflict and hatred between the two races of mankind continues to smolder in various parts of the world.
