MF Ghost" is a manga work written by Shuichi Shigeno and serialized in "Young Magazine" (Kodansha) since 2017. The total number of copies sold has exceeded 4.4 million. It depicts a car racing battle on an actual public road in a near-future setting of the popular "Initial D," which was also serialized in "Young Magazine" from 1995 to 2013.

It was announced that the second season of the TV anime "MF Ghost," which reached its final episode today, will be broadcast in 2024. In addition, a super teaser PV of an 86GT driving through the rain was also released.

In episode 12, the qualifying time attack for the MFG Round 2 "Ashinoko GT" is in progress, and Natsukou Katagiri challenges the time attack and finishes. The final episode came with the climax of the final race about to start. After the final episode's ending, a super teaser PV was released and it was revealed that the second season will be broadcast in 2024.

The teaser PV shows Katagiri Natsuki's beloved 86GT running in the rain, reminding us that the long-awaited final race at Lake Ashinoko GT will be held in the rain.

The 1st Season, which reached its final episode, will be broadcast on December 25 (Mon.) on ABEMA, and will also be available on Lemino, Prime Video, and other channels. The Blu-ray box set will be released on January 26, 2024 (Fri.), so viewers will be able to rewatch the 1st Season before the 2nd Season airs.
