The first issue of the weekly magazine "Honda CB750FOUR Reissue Edition," a synonym for "Nanahan," a 1/4 scale model of the CB750FOUR! On sale on January 30, 2024 (Tuesday).
De Agostini Japan will begin selling the weekly "Honda CB750FOUR Reissue Edition" at bookstores nationwide (excluding some areas) and on the official De Agostini website starting Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
In 1969, Honda introduced the Honda DREAM CB750FOUR to the global motorcycle market by integrating the best of its technology at that time. This series of 1/4-scale models faithfully recreates the legendary bike that has captivated riders around the world and remains synonymous with "Nanahan," or "Nanohan" to this day, down to the iconic details such as the four-cylinder engine and sand-shaped crankcase. The CB750FOUR is back again, with gimmicks such as the engine sound and lights that illuminate, and every detail of the real car has been faithfully reproduced.
This series is a reissue of the series released in 2011.
The CB750FOUR (K0) is an elaborate 1/4 scale model that recreates the actual CB750FOUR down to the finest detail.
In order to faithfully reproduce the CB750FOUR, a large 1/4 scale model was adopted. Not only are the details that were difficult to model precisely reproduced, but also the materials used have been carefully selected. The spokes are made of stainless steel wire, and the seats, with their distinctive shape, are upholstered in leather.
Furthermore, the "sand-shaped crankcase," which is the identity of the early model, is reproduced with die-cast metal parts to recreate even the texture, completing a model with a profound sense of dignity.
Spokes (stainless steel wire)
Sand-type crankcase (die-cast)
Seat height: approx. 220mm
Overall length: approx. 520mm
Overall width: approx. 200mm
Overall height: approx. 270mm
Display model boasts an overwhelming degree of perfection.
The modeling of the CB750FOUR's iconic 4-cylinder engine and the sand-shaped crankcase, which was only used on the initial production models of the K0 series, are reproduced with an overwhelming level of perfection. Many metal parts are also used to reproduce the massive feeling of the actual vehicle.
■Exhaust Pipes
The four exhaust pipes are made of chrome-plated zinc die-cast.
Crankcase
The "sand type" crankcase, which was adopted only for the early models. The rough texture of the crankcase surface is also reproduced.
Chain and sprocket
Metal roller chain and sprockets are used for the drivetrain. The unique texture is reproduced by polishing without painting.
Disc brakes
The first mass-produced disc brake, even the hairline on the rotor surface has been reproduced.
■Carburetor
Four carburetors are jointed at the upper rear of the engine.
■Meter
Assembled type, lights up in conjunction with the headlight.
[Display base with hidden light and sound effects.
This series also offers a special display base that produces a variety of effects.
The control panel on the front of the display mimics the layout of switches on a real car, allowing control of the various effects incorporated into the model. A large-diameter speaker is also provided, allowing the user to experience the powerful engine sound recorded from the actual car. Control between the display base and the model is completely wireless using an infrared system.
This is the ultimate display model that incorporates effect functions while pursuing the elaborateness of a scale model.
Two types of effects that fascinate with light and sound
The "Light Effects" light up/blink lights, and the "Sound Effects" make engine startup and idling sounds.
Headlights
The headlights can be switched between "low beam" and "high beam.
Tail lamps
In addition to normal lighting, the brightness increases when the brake is operated.
Blinkers
Blinkers flash at the same speed as those on a real car.
Display base
Built-in large-diameter speakers reproduce powerful bass sound.
■Dedicated keys (2 keys)
Two keys are provided for this series. The smaller key is for the model and the larger key is for the display base and switches for each effect.
