Kaiyodo Battle x Biographical Mystery "Fictional Mystery" will be adapted into a TV anime! Produced by Brains Base

A TV anime adaptation of "Fictional Reasoning," originally written by Kyo Jouhei, has been decided.

The novel "Fictional Reasoning: Nanase Koujin" (illustrated by Hiro Kiyohara) was released by Kodansha Novel in 2011. A comic book adaptation of "Fictional Reasoning" (Shonen Magazine R) by Katase Chashiba, based on the same work, has been serialized since 2015. The original comic currently has nine volumes in print and has sold more than 2 million copies.
The main character, Kotoko Iwanaga, who has become the "god of wisdom" of monsters and ghosts, and Guro Sakuragawa, who has become immortal after eating "ghost flesh" and gaining supernatural powers, battle mysterious cases. The story is a battle x mystery.

In conjunction with the anime adaptation, a teaser visual depicting Kotoko Iwanaga and Kuro Sakuragawa was unveiled. In addition, the main staff has also been unveiled.
The director is Keiji Goto of "Kiddy Glade" and "End Ride," the series composition is by Noboru Takagi of "Golden Kamui" and "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These," and the character design and chief animation director is Takatoshi Honda.
