New information on "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion", a new animation of the "Code Geass" series, has been announced.

Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion" (25 episodes) in 2006 and "Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion R2" (25 episodes) in 2008 were broadcast on TV and became big hits. Even now, more than 15 years after its broadcast, the series continues to enjoy strong support from fans.

From October 2017 to May 2018, the 50 episodes of the TV series "Lelouch of the Rebellion" and "Lelouch of the Rebellion R2" were re-edited into three films, with all new postrecordings and new cuts added, and the theatrical trilogy was sequentially released. A completely new film "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection" was released in February 2019 on a nationwide roadshow and became a blockbuster hit, grossing over 1 billion yen at the box office.
The new animation series "Code Geass: Retribution of Lose" will begin screening in May 2024 in a total of four acts.

New information about "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Retribution", a new animation in the "Code Geass" series, was announced during an event held on December 18, 2023. The story of two brothers, Rose and Ash, the new main characters in the series, will be screened in May 2024 in a total of four acts.

The film will be directed by Eishimitsu Ohashi and composed by Noboru Kimura, with character design by CLAMP and character design by Takahiro Kimura and Shuichi Shimamura, all of whom have worked on the series in the past.
Expectations are high for the new "Code Geass" story.

The opening theme song of "Code Geass Retrieval of Roze" is performed for the first time along with the movie in the special trailer that was released this time.

As the opening theme song for "Code Geass," a work loved by many people, I created this song with a lyrical view of the world that depicts the worries and conflicts of the main character, Rose, and with a lot of energy that will blow away those conflicts themselves.

It is the first up-tempo rock tune in a while, so I hope people will play it along with the anime and sing along at the live shows.
