Free! -Dive to the Future-" will be released in theaters on July 5 & a completely new theatrical version will be released in the summer of 2020!

A new theatrical version of the TV anime "Free! -Dive to the Future-," which aired in the summer of 2018, will be released on July 5. It was also announced that a completely new movie version will be released in the summer of 2020.

Free!" is a TV animation based on "High☆Speed! a TV animation based on the 2nd Kyoto Animation Award-winning "High☆Speed! The story depicts the coming-of-age and bonding of high school boys with swimming as the theme, and the high quality animation unique to Kyoto Animation has captured the hearts of many fans, and became very popular with a second season airing in July 2014. Timeless Medley- Kizuna" and "Free ! Dive to the Future-" was broadcast in summer 2018.

This time, at the "Free!-Dive to the Future-" Talk & Reading Special Event held at Katayanagi Arena on January 13, 2019, new information about the popular anime series "Free!" produced by Kyoto Animation and Animation Do was revealed.

Dive to the Future", which aired as a TV anime last summer, will be reworked with new episodes and released in theaters on July 5, 2019, and a completely new movie version will be released in the summer of 2020.

The "Road to 2020 Event Special Report Movie," which was shown at the event, is now available for viewing, and a teaser visual of Haruka Nanase has also been released.

The "Free!" series is gaining momentum toward 2020, and we can't take our eyes off of it in the future.
