Melody on the Boundary" is Miyata's first light novel that depicts two boys' adolescence and the brightness of life under the theme of "music".

Synopsis.

Kyousuke lost his partner Kai in an accident just before his major label debut. However, two years have passed since the accident. Two years after the accident, Kai suddenly appears in front of Kyousuke.

Even if you are alive, if you just stand still and do nothing, you are just as dead as if you were alive.

His tone is the same as when he was alive. Kyousuke's words are just as toothless and forceful as they were when he was alive, and his smile is just as compelling as his words. Kyosuke is persuaded by Kai to face the world of music again, and feels the joy of layering sounds together. But the happy time with Kai is not forever...

On May 24, I will finally release a light novel called "Melody on the Boundary," which is the realization of my dream.

I have said in various places that I wanted to write a light novel and that I wanted to make an anime. But I realized that it is not easy to make a dream come true and that it is not enough to just wait and see. I started working on it, and then I received an offer to write a light novel or book. And now, one of them has come true.

I had never written a book before, so I studied a lot, but I really didn't know what to do.

Of course there were difficult times, but I thought, "I'm going to put into writing what I find interesting! I wrote what I thought was interesting with only my passion.

For about two years until the completion of the work, I put a lot of my soul into it, cutting down on the time I spent watching anime and sleeping.

Also, a special Drama CD edition will be released this time. I felt very happy when I heard the voices of Kyousuke and Kai, so I hope everyone is looking forward to it. I would like to talk a lot when I have a chance to talk again.
