In 2023, the best ani-song chosen by Akiba Research Institute users was "mirAI wave!", the OP theme of the first season of "Kizuna no Ariru".
Kizuna Ai" depicts the struggles of girls who aspire to become virtual artists, following in the footsteps of the legendary V-tuber Kizuna Ai. This energetic song, which heralds the start of the show, seems to have been a hit with many people. Not only the first season in the spring season, but also the second season aired in the fall season. The fact that the characters were always close to the users, including the ongoing video distribution, must have been a good factor.
The result is impressive, with more than 1,000 votes separating it from second place.

In addition to the "Kizuna no Ariru" song, the second season ED "Janken Hoi! and the first season ED "Yosuga-Yosuga" at No. 10. This song uses Kizuna Ai's voice data, and can be said to be an anime song that is close to the world of the work. Janken Hoi! is a friendly pop tune, and "Yosuga-Yosuga" is a hard digital rock tune!

The second place goes to "Kano Kari" OP "Love Millifilm" by halca, a direct love song written by Yuho Kitazawa of the peggies and vocalized by halca, who has been singing the theme song of "Kanokari". The straightforward band sound, reminiscent of the Peggies, is perfectly matched with halca's straight voice. The result is reminiscent of the human characters in the anime, who are too straightforward to convey their feelings. Although it was in the lower ranks at the beginning of the voting, it surged rapidly in the latter half of the voting! It was a great success, coming in second place.

Third place went to "Fae~Renzai -Kamisama no Nichijo- " ED "Sayonara Mata Ne Motto". The song is sung by 7 MEN Samurai, a group of selected members from Junior (formerly Johnny's Jr.). The song is a stylish medium tune with an urban image, and the melody is somewhat melancholy, making it a song that touches the heart. This song is also a popular song that continued to play in the battle for the top spot until the very end.

HiHi Jets, another junior group, ranked 6th with "Junjo Woainee" from"Feirenzai -Kamisama no Nichijou-. This one is a pop song with an exotic feel, another one of their habitual songs.
In fact, these two songs have not yet been released on CD or distributed. We hope that one day we will be able to listen to these songs in full size.

These top three songs received more than 3,000 votes, which is a high level of competition. Although the rankings are as a result, it is no exaggeration to say that all of them are anime songs representing the year 2023.

Now, let's check out the 4th place and below.

No. 4 is "Runaway World," an OP song by fhána from "Escape from Japan: The Great Mission. This song was released after various changes, such as the members leaving the group and the label transferring from Lantis to Nippon Columbia, and everyone was shocked by the song. The song is the OP theme song for the anime "Escape from Japan. The theme song was surprisingly a hot and straightforward anime song! The song is especially noteworthy for the sense of speed from the chorus and the tension-filled development of the song.

No. 7 is "今天开始做明星" sung by Tangengetsu from "Re:STARS". The lyrics are in Chinese, but if sung in Japanese, it could be called the theme song of a new anime, and it is a song that reminds us of the growth of Chinese anime. If I had to venture a guess, I would say that it sounds like the theme song for a bishojo anime or an anime based on a PC game from about 10 years ago. It is a song that will be a focus of attention in the Chinese anime scene in the future.

No. 8 was "Dear," the OP of "Mahoutsukai no Yome SEASON 2 (1st season). It was sung by JUNNNA.
From the exotic mood in the beginning, the song gradually builds up the voltage, and the chorus is a dramatic song with JUNNNA's emotional voice.

No. 9 is "Sugar Apple Fairy Tail" OP "Musical " by Minori Suzuki. 3-beat rhythm and plenty of strings and horns are used in the track, which is very elegant, and Suzuki's singing voice on it is just like a musical. It is a song that makes one rethink the meaning of singing by voice actors, and is very worthwhile listening to.

The group "Valkyrie" from "Macross Delta," which brought JUNNNA and SUZUKI to the world, will stop their activities in 2023.
