I want to eat good fried rice! Japanese-style claypot specialty restaurant Dashiya! The "forbidden" back fat fried rice is 940 yen!

When you come to Akihabara, you may have a hard time deciding where to have lunch.

In order to help you choose the right place for lunch, here are some Akiba eats recommended by Shun Gori, who is a frequent visitor to Akihabara even when he has no other business in Akihabara.

As an Akibaite who likes to spend money on his hobbies, I will focus on those who can eat for less than 1,000 yen, assuming that the amount of money you can spend for lunch is within 1,000 yen.

Akihabara is a fierce battleground for ramen. However, ramen is not the only type of Chinese food. Ramen" and "fried rice" are probably the two biggest Chinese dishes in Japan. It is natural to think, "Ramen is good, but sometimes I want to eat the best fried rice! It is the natural order of things. And if it costs less than 1,000 yen, it is even better.

This time, we visited "Dashiya," a restaurant specializing in Japanese-style claypot meat, where the forbidden "back fat" fried rice is available for less than 1,000 yen. where you can get the forbidden "back fat" fried rice for less than 1,000 yen.

Japanese-style claypot meat specialty restaurant Dashiya. is located about a one-minute walk from the Showa-dori exit of JR Akihabara Station. The restaurant is located on the first floor of the building, but the entrance is in the back, so be sure not to miss the sign.

Inside the restaurant, all seats are semi-private rooms, so there are 9 seats for 1 person and 6 seats for 2 persons, for a total of 15 seats.

This time, since the one-person seats were occupied, we were guided to the two-person seats.

All seats are semi-private, which is quite rare in Tokyo, so this restaurant is ideal for those who enjoy eating alone, like a gourmet who enjoys eating alone, "When I eat something, I like to do it alone, in peace and quiet, without being bothered by anyone..." This is the perfect place for those who like to enjoy their food alone.

There is no specific lunch menu, but as a restaurant specializing in Japanese-style claypot meat, the menu is basically centered on claypot meat.

Naturally, I entered the restaurant with the intention of having claypot, but upon closer inspection of the menu, I noticed the words "Forbidden Fried Rice" at the bottom of the menu.

When we asked the owner about it, he told us that he used to be trained at a famous fried rice restaurant. And, being "forbidden," I had a gut feeling that "this must be absolutely delicious," and ordered it without hesitation.

So, my order this time was the "Forbidden Fried Rice with Fatty Back Sauce" for 940 yen.

The fried rice was crispy and topped with a large amount of fatty back fat, and looked very tasty. It comes with a side dish of spicy red pepper paste and soup.

First, I took a bite of the fried rice. The owner of the restaurant had trained at a famous fried rice restaurant, and the fried rice was crispy and well seasoned. Some might say, "You don't eat fried rice in a restaurant specializing in claypot meat," but the fried rice is worth the effort.

Next, I had the back fat and fried rice together.

This is also delicious! The fat from the back of the rice mixes with the fried rice in the mouth, enhancing the flavor of both.

I also tried mixing in some spicy takana (Chinese mustard greens), which also went very well with the fried rice. It was so delicious that there should be a menu item called "Forbidden Spicy Takana Fried Rice.

Whenever my mouth got greasy, I reset it with the soup and enjoyed it all the way through.

This time, I scooped the back fat and fried rice as I ate it, but it might have been better if I had mixed them together first. I promised myself that the next time I visit the restaurant, I would mix all the back fat and hot spicy Chinese cabbage together before eating it.

Since we are a restaurant specializing in claypot meat, of course we are particular about our claypot meat, and it is very tasty, so we encourage you to try it as well.

So, this time, I visited "Japanese-style claypot specialty restaurant Dashiya," where "forbidden fried rice" can be eaten. a restaurant where you can eat "forbidden fried rice. Although it is a restaurant specializing in claypot meat, it serves not only claypot meat but also delicious fried rice, so we hope you will go there to try it.

The restaurant has been introduced on TV, so there is a line even before it opens, but if you go a little later than lunch time, you may be able to get in without any problems. In any case, be sure to arrive with plenty of time to spare.
