This project was started with this in mind.
The prototype was created by Susuki Garage (Susuki Tougeno), which continues to receive high acclaim for its monster and creature modeling.

He has been highly acclaimed for his powerful compositions and convincing textures of monsters from special effects works, which he arranged with innovative interpretations based on living creatures, as well as original creatures designed from his own unique point of view.

This time, the giant Legion was proposed by Susuki Toge-no-susuki in a "poster version compliant pose.

The Legion raises its huge body as if it were reaching for the sky.
In addition to the silhouette that follows the Legion in the movie, biological arrangements based on current crustaceans, beetles, etc., are scattered throughout the figure.

The silhouette of the figure, with its intricate interweaving of parts, is reminiscent of a "fortress," even though it is only one piece.
The pedestal is modeled after Ashikaga City, the scene of the final battle in the film, and shows the figure standing amidst the debris, crushing factories and raising its huge body.

While the overall silhouette of the figure is that of a gigantic Legion, it is sculpted by Susuki Toge-no in many places with great precision and a sense of life.
The majority of its body is a resin-cast (polyurethane) statue, which allows this dense and precise texture to be reproduced to the utmost limit.

[Features of the colored version.

The coloring of the figure is based on the concept of "statues" like works of art or sculptures, so the figure is painted in heavy colors as if it were a work of art.

The coloring of the entire body follows that of the poster version, while also respecting the original coloring of the Legion, creating a color palette that truly blends the elements of the poster and the main story.

The entire body is painted with an edgy stain that shows off the textures by Susuki Toge-no-suki, and the back of the body is covered with a faint blue light that is also seen on the poster.
The black shadows on each part of the body are also based on the suit in the movie.

The head is painted with the light-emitting organs of the Legion, which are visible on the poster.

The eyeball parts are made of clear parts, and the coloring is applied from the back of the parts to give the impression that there is a bright light source behind the eyes.

The pedestal is painted with a flame-illuminated paint job to represent the explosion that occurs at Legion's feet on the poster.
The center of the light source is placed right in the center of the Legion, giving it a realistic and powerful finish.

Each statue is a high quality pre-colored statue that looks as if it were a finished garage kit.

Features of the garage kit version

The garage kit version has the largest number of parts in the series history, 60 parts in total.

Of the 60 parts, except for the small eyeball parts and parts that can be fixed with only dowels, about 50 parts are processed by hammering on the axis and built-in strong magnets, making it possible to easily assemble the figure.

As a garage kit, it is so easy to assemble that it is hard to imagine from its overall image, and it has a level of completion that is on another level.
