Spike Chunsoft released the dungeon RPG "Fushigi no Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 6 Toguroshima Tankenroku" ("Shiren the Wanderer 6") for Nintendo Switch today, Thursday, January 25, 2024. The price is 6,985 yen (including tax).

Shiren the Wanderer 6" is the sixth numbered dungeon RPG in the "Shiren the Wanderer" series, and the first completely new numbered title in the series in 14 years.
The game retains the fundamental fun of the "Mystery Dungeon" series, which has been loved by many fans, by having players traverse dungeons with a different structure each time they enter them, but also includes a number of new elements that make the story progress through repeated challenges and make playing Mystery Dungeon even more fun and longer.

In conjunction with the release of the game, new game information regarding the "Momo Man" that can transform into monster form and the monsters that appear in the game has been released.

The new "Momo Man," which transforms Siren into the form of a monster, is now available. When a monster is defeated using the "Momo Man Stick" or "Momo Man Wand," which can be obtained by advancing through the game, a "Momo Man" bearing the monster's name may be obtained. Eating a "Momo Man" transforms you into a monster and allows you to use the monster's special skills. When transformed into an aquatic monster or a flying monster, they can move through places that are normally impassable. The "Momoman stick" and "Momoman staff" can be picked up in dungeons when certain conditions are met, and the story surrounding this mysterious tool is also worth noting.

Monsters that will appear in the game

Batter" species

A monster that launches flying tools and magic bullets back at its opponents. If it misses, it is launched and falls nearby. The higher the level of the "hitter," the higher the probability that it will hit back.

Chicken" species

Master Chicken" and "Great Chicken" are the most well-trained monster types. They are good at fighting, and at higher levels, they will approach you at double speed. When their remaining HP is low, they turn into "Chicken.
The "chicken" has no fighting ability at all and runs away anyway. If you hit it with a flame or a blast to defeat it, you can get a "yakitori," a tool with the same effect as an onigiri (rice ball).

Ninja lurking on Toguro Island

Ninja use the ninjutsu of fire, water, wood, metal, and earth. They sometimes evade attacks with their quick movements and use ninjutsu with different characteristics.
The "Fire Fugu Ninja" type burns fallen tools. The "Onigiri" type can turn "Onigiri" into highly effective "Yaki Onigiri".
The "Water Fugu Ninja" hides underwater. If they are shot with a water gun, their tools may get wet and become useless.
The "wood recluse" type: They will throw logs at you. When attacked, they may use their shifting techniques to escape.
The "Kin Fugu Ninja" species throw Gitans at you. Each time they throw a Gitane, the amount of Gitane that is dropped after the ninja is defeated is reduced.
The "earth recluse" species: These ninjas hide behind walls of clods and attack by surprise. They also attack with sand to blind you.
