Director: Seiji Mizushima x Script: Gen Urobuchi! Production of a completely new theatrical anime "Rakuen banishu: Resonance of the Heart" has been decided! The staff of "Rakuen Oukan" will depict a new story beyond "Rakuen Oukan".

The main staff of "Rakuen banish" will gather to produce a sequel, a completely new theatrical animation "Rakuen banish: Resonance of the Heart".

The animated feature film "Rakuen banish" was released in 2014. Despite being an original film released in only 13 theaters, it drew more than 110,000 viewers and sold more than 70,000 Blu-ray & DVD copies. It has won the 24th Japan Film Critics Award for Best Animation Film, the 68th Motion Picture and Television Engineering Society's Visual Technology Award in the animation category, and the 1st place in the animation category of the Amazon Ranking Awards for the first half of 2015.

This time, the main staff of "Rakuen boku" will gather to produce a sequel, a completely new theatrical animation "Rakuen boku: Kokoro no resonance" (Rakuen boku: Resonance of the Heart).

This is an original theatrical animation work by creators including Seiji Mizushima (director), Gen Urobuchi (Nitroplus), Masatsugu Saito (character design), and NARASAKI (music), which depicts a new story beyond "Rakuen Oukan".

The teaser PV and the first key visual were unveiled at "Virtual Anime Fes," Toei Animation's first event using VR space for new lineups, held today along with the production announcement.

Production of "Rakuen Oukoku Kokoro no Resonance" has been decided.

Onn'on Studios presents "Virtual Anime Fes" Information

Onn'on Studios" is a new project of Toei Animation. The "Virtual Anime Fes" is the first attempt of this project, a lineup event of new works using VR space. Director Seiji Mizushima, scriptwriter Gen Urobuchi, and producer Koichi Noguchi appeared in this event to deliver a talk about "Rakuen Oukoku Shin no Resonance.
