New visuals of the characters for the seventh season of the TV anime "My Hero Academia" have been released.

My Hero Academia" has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since July 2014. The series has sold more than 85 million copies worldwide in 39 volumes and is a popular work. Set in a world where the existence of people with supernatural abilities called "individuality" is commonplace, the main character, Midoriya Izuhisa, a.k.a. The long-awaited 7th season of "My Hero Academia," the latest series of "My Hero Academia," will be broadcast every Saturday evening from May 4, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. on 29 Yomiuri and Nippon Television networks nationwide (*excluding some areas).

On April 6 (Sat), 13 (Sat), 20 (Sat), and 27 (Sat), "My Hero Academia Memories" will be aired in four episodes, featuring new scenes from the important story leading up to the seventh season of "Hero Academia".

The story of the seventh season begins with episode 329 from the original comic book volume 34. After a lonely battle, Deku receives the thoughts of his classmates and renews his resolve to "fight together, not alone. Mourning Shigaraki, who is about to be taken in by the giant evil "All for One," but keeps going forward with the belief that he will "destroy everything. The heroes and enemies (villains) centering on these two finally head for the final battle.

New visuals of the characters have been released in preparation for the broadcast of the 7th season.
In this visual, all 20 members of Class 1A of Yuuei High School's Hero Course, including Deku, Katsumi Bakugou, Ochako Reichi, and Jyohiro Todoroki, are gathered together. Each of them is depicted in their latest hero costumes and with dignified expressions of determination as they prepare for the final battle against their enemy "villain.
The visuals will be used in promotions and various goods to promote the seventh season of Heroa and the latest film version of "My Hero Academia the Movie," which is scheduled to be released this summer.

The original story, which is currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, will also be introduced at today's JUMP FESTA as "The battle I am currently drawing is reaching its climax. We will work hard with Deku and the others so that you will be able to see it through to the end." (* excerpts), which is the climax of the story. With the broadcast of "My Hero Academia Memories" in April, the start of the 7th season in May, and the release of the 4th movie version in summer, 2024 will truly be the "Heroaca Year. The TV anime "My Hero Academia" is based on the popular comic series by Kohei Horikoshi, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha). The story takes place in a world where about 80% of the total population has some kind of supernatural ability called "individuality. Aiming to become a hero who protects people and society from accidents, disasters, and criminals/enemies who abuse their "individuality", a high school student at the Yuuei School, Midoriya Izuhisa "Deku", and his classmates grow up, fight, and become the heroes they are today. The story of the growth, battles, and friendship of Deku and his classmates will unfold!

<Story
In a world where people with supernatural "individuality" are the norm. When he meets the No. 1 hero All Might, whom he admires, the "impersonal" boy, Midoriya Izuhisa, a.k.a. "Deku," discovers the heroic qualities hidden within him, and is given the opportunity to become a hero through All Might's "individuality". He inherited One for All (OFA) from All Might. Deku enrolls in the prestigious hero-producing Yuei High School, and grows up with his classmates in the Hero Department's 1st year A class, aiming to become a "hero" who can save society and people with his "individuality".
 In the spring of Deku and his classmates' second year at Yuei. The heroes decide to conduct a cleanup operation against Shigaraki and other "villains," and a fierce battle unfolds that can truly be called an "all-out war. Both sides sustain heavy damage and the all-out war comes to a temporary end, but trust in heroes is shaken and society is devastated. Deku leaves Yuuei to fight alone, driven by his sense of duty as the heir to the OFA, which is the target of the All for One (AFO), and his desire not to endanger the people around him. His classmates in Class A of Year 1 reach out to him as he grows frustrated and weary. The students and heroes renewed their resolve to fight not alone, but together. The villains, such as Shigaraki Mourning and AFO, aim to make their next move to destroy the heroes. The time for the "Final Battle" approaches. And a hero flies in from America....
