YU-GO's Character Modeling LABO] The 12th "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM" commemorates the release of "Let's Make the HG 1/144 Rising Freedom Gundam! Act 1

Have you all seen the movie "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM"? I would like to say in one word what I think of it: "A masterpiece worth waiting 20 years for! It's a masterpiece! It was exactly the "sequel we wanted to see", and I think it is the most enjoyable work for SEED fans. To be honest, after watching it, I was so lost in thought that I could not get up from my seat for a while.

It was a wonderful work that allowed me to feel the "feelings" and "love" of 20 years with my whole body, and I would like to talk about it anyway now, but since it would be a complete spoiler right after its release, I would like to review the kit while suppressing my impatience. This article will consist of two parts: a quick review of the unassembled kit, and an example of the kit with a few extra touches!

Let's start with the box art as usual.

The powerful box art by Naochika Morishita is eye-catching.

The contents of the box look like this. The runner is packed tightly and looks quite voluminous.

The division of the face parts is quite detailed, so care must be taken when assembling.

The beam shield is made of clear material, but has a mysterious shine due to the "polarized light molding" used.

The hand parts are also finely sculpted. It is nice that there is a flat hand.

The beam saber and other effect parts are also molded in beautiful pink.

The blue coloring is also nice.

The coloring is reproduced with molded colors and stickers!

I wanted to see the finished product as soon as possible, so I assembled it straight away first.

It looks stylish and cool!

The parts are quite detailed, and most of them are reproduced with molded colors.

A shot of the upper body from the front, familiar from previews and the like. It captures the image well.

The white lines on the wings are reproduced with stickers.

The figure looks even stronger when armed,

The back shot is also perfect!

The "High Matte Full Burst" can also be reproduced!

The most unique feature of this kit is the "SEED Action System". The most distinctive feature of this kit is the "SEED Action System," which allows for a greater range of motion to recreate the poseable poses created by the mechanical animation director, Satoshi Shigeta.

The pose is highly flexible, so you can pose the figure as you imagined it in the movie.

Can also transform into MA form! It is a simple lying-down form, but it can be transformed into a silhouette like a fighter plane.

This time, we have sent this review in the style of a quick review, introducing the materials and good points of the kit in a straightforward manner. The Rising Freedom also plays an active role in the movie, so it would be fun to build and play with it while listening to the theme song "FREEDOM" while the excitement of the movie is still fresh in your mind.

This time it was completely unassembled, but I plan to do a little work on it next time, so stay tuned!

See you again in the second act of the review!
