Stylish Sci-Fi Action RPG "Stellar Blade" for PS5 to be released on Friday, April 26, 2024! Pre-orders begin on Wednesday, February 7!

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) will release "Stellar Blade" software for PlayStation 5 (PS5) on Friday, April 26, 2024.

Stellar Blade" is a stylish sci-fi action RPG set in a devastated world.
It is the first home console game title from Korean developer Shift Up. The story takes place in the near future in a world where the earth has been taken over by an unknown evil creature, the ground has been devastated, and humanity has been driven out.
The combat system emphasizes the importance of standing your ground by making good use of attack, defense, and evasion. Learning the attack patterns of enemies and counter-attacking with precision is effective, and boss battles, which are encountered many times in the game, are particularly challenging.

The DualSense wireless controller's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are utilized to provide an immersive gameplay experience.

The "Stellar Blade" software for PlayStation 5 (PS5) will be released on Friday, April 26, 2024.

A new trailer for the game has also been released. This trailer introduces the game content and provides information about the game mechanics, storyline development, and even combat.

Pre-orders for this title will be accepted at PlayStation retailers and PlayStation Store nationwide starting Wednesday, February 7, 2024.
Pre-orders of either the Standard Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition of "Stellar Blade" will include the "Planet Dive Suit," a decorative item for Eve, " Classic Round Glass" and "Ear Armor" for Eve.

The Digital Deluxe Edition of "Stellar Blade" includes the full game, all pre-order extras, plus the Stargazer Suit (for Eve), Stargazer Wear (for Adam), Stargazer Coat (for Lily) and Half Rim Glasses (for Eve), Quadruple Square Earrings (for Eve), Stargazer Pack (for Drone), as well as 2,000 SP EXP and 5,000 gold (in-game currency) to help them complete their mission to retake Earth.

Stellar Blade" Trailer

The Story of Eve

"Stellar Blade" tells the story of Eve, a soldier who has come down from the colony to defeat the "Natives," humanity's enemies who have suddenly appeared on Earth. The Natives appear to be attacking humanity at the will of higher beings such as the "Alphas" and "Elders," but no one knows their origins.

The protagonist, Eve, meets Adam, a stranded survivor, and Lily, a former paratrooper sent to Earth, on a desolate world. Working together, the group faces the natives who stand in their way. As they travel, Eve and her companions also find themselves in cooperation with the inhabitants of "Zion," the last city of mankind.

The world of "Stellar Blade

Zion is connected to semi-open world areas such as "The Wilderness" and "The Great Desert," and each area hides many secrets. Eve's adventure awaits her as she encounters a wide variety of people and unfolds in a vast field. Help the inhabitants of Zion as you fulfill your assigned mission. The first major goal is to collect "Hypercells," the massive energy source that sustains Zion. Hypercells are found in many places around the world. Once the hypercells are collected and brought back to Zion, the city will regain its former glory. And as Zion comes back to life, Eve will meet more and more residents.

As the adventure progresses, players can pick up equipment such as "exospines" and "gear" and unlock powerful skills by earning SP EXP. You can also find a variety of decorative items such as clothing, accessories, and hairstyles.
As you explore the world of "Stellar Blade," the variety of music is another of the game's attractions. The music ranges from soothing tunes played in camp to songs expressing the sadness of a ruined city. Most of the songs have choruses and vocals, adding to the immersive feel of the world of "Stellar Blade."

Stellar Blade" takes advantage of the DualSense wireless controller's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers for immersive gameplay.

In addition to the release date of "Stellar Blade," pre-order details for this title were also announced.
Pre-orders will be accepted from February 7, 2024 (Wednesday) at PlayStation retailers and PlayStationStore nationwide. Players who pre-order either version of "Stellar Blade" will receive the "Planet Dive Suit," "Classic Round Glass," and "Ear Armor Earrings" for Eve, ear armor earrings" for Eve.
