Additional cast members have been announced for the spring anime "A Former Hero Called Defector Decides to Live as He Pleases," which is scheduled to begin airing and distribution in April 2024 on Teletext, BS Teletext, and other networks. In addition, character setting drawings and cast comments were also released.

The popular light novel "The Former Hero Called Defective Decides to Live as He Pleases" (TO Books), written by Shin Kohzuki, has sold over 900,000 copies (including e-books) and is currently being adapted into a TV anime.
