Sega Games Co., Ltd. and Sega Interactive Inc. have decided to produce "Kemono Friends 3," the latest in the "Kemono Friends Project," for smartphone applications and arcades.

The "Kemono Friends" series is a popular content series with a variety of projects underway, including games, comics, stage shows, and zoo collaborations. The story is set in "Japari Park," a gigantic comprehensive zoo, where the Friends go on a great adventure after being transformed from animal to human form under the influence of a mysterious substance called "Sandstar. Character concept design is by Mine Yoshizaki, known for "Sergeant Keroro," etc. The first season was broadcast on TV from January to March 2017. Production of the TV anime "Kemono Friends 2" was announced at "Kemono Friends LIVE" held on Sunday, September 2, 2018, and the first PV was released. The first PV was released. To commemorate the broadcast of "Kemono Friends 2," an advance screening of the first episode of the on-air version with the opening and ending and a talk show by the main cast members were held two days before the on-air version.
