On Sunday, March 24, 2024, "To the Earth...," a science fiction anime film based on Keiko Takemiya's masterpiece manga, will be broadcast on BS12 Twelvi's "Sunday Anime Theater," a nationwide free-to-air program.
BS12 Twelvi is currently broadcasting "Sunday Anime Gekijo" on Sunday nights from 7:00 pm, specializing in theatrical and feature-length animated films.
The SF anime film "To the Earth...", which will be broadcast on March 24, 2024 (Sunday) at 7:00 p.m., is a theatrical anime film that is a big hit, adapted from a full-length SF story written by Keiko Takemiya, winner of the 25th Shogakukan Manga Award and directed by Hideo Onchi, known for his many outstanding works including his "Seishun" line of works.
Humanity and the new human race Miu, who are still thinking about the unknown Earth, fight against each other in a sad battle. Set in the future universe, this romantic epic of dreams, fantasy, and adventure exploded in popularity for its unsparing depiction of the strength, intensity, beauty, and sadness of adolescence. It is a sci-fi romance anime written by Keiko Takemiya that shows the detailed depiction that only a woman could create.

<Story
The time is far in the future. Human civilization has reached its peak and has entered an era in which it is possible to expand into the vastness of space using warp navigation. However, the Earth was on the verge of extinction due to depletion of natural resources, population growth, and environmental pollution. Children who reach the age of 14 on their "awakening day" are required to undergo an adult examination, and only those who pass the examination are sent to Earth, Only those who passed the test were sent to Earth to live as healthy citizens. However, the test for adulthood gave birth to "Mew," an alien element of the controlled society.
