A collaboration campaign between the now-released "Yakuza8" and the sushi chain Tsukiji Kiyomura Sushi Zammai began today, Monday, February 19, 2024.

Yakuza8" for PlayStation 5/PlayStation 4/Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One/Windows and PC (Steam) is a dramatic RPG featuring Kasuga Ichiban, the main character from "Yakuza7," and Kiryu Kazuma. It depicts the best drama of the series with two main characters, Kasuga Ichiban, a man who crawls up again from the bottom, and Kiryu Kazuma, a man who challenges the last battle of his life.
The game was released simultaneously worldwide on January 26, 2024, and the total worldwide sales have been announced to have exceeded 1 million units within one week of its release.
