Yuhki Tai's Toys and Games Vol. 40 AMAKUNI Kijin King Jader Part 2

⇒In the second part of the article, we would like to transform it into each form!
AMAKUNI Kijin King Jader" re-release commemorative toy review] It's so big! Very strong! Voice actor Yasuyuki Tai plays around with the ultimate King Jader! Part 1

First, remove the head and arms.

Swing the base of the shoulders forward and split the backpack to the left and right.

Extend the frame inside the body to the limit and tilt the chest block back.

The base of the neck is inverted with a donjon.

Bring the backpack to the underside of the chest block and close the sides again, close the thruster covers and stow the shoulder joints.

The extended frame is put back and the body is locked by moving the lumbar center block upward.

The rear skirt is rotated to flip up 180° to connect with the waist.

Legs are deployed shins and sides. Both ankles are deformed and stored inside.

Deck folded at the calf is deployed. Although hidden and not visible, the rear side armor of the right thigh slides downward.

Release the leg stoppers and fold the front and rear leg parts to make them thinner. It is still stiff enough. ...... After thinning, close and lock the outer leg panels.

The side skirts and the deployed leg side armor cover the sides of the fuselage.

With the heels extended and the Jake-Oce attached to the bow, the Jay Carrier is complete! It has a different "carrier" appearance than the Jay Ark.

By placing it on the special pedestal, it can be placed horizontally against the floor.

Proportion up parts for Jay Ark are connected to the bow. The instruction manual explains the installation only for the Jay Ark, but you can also install it in the Jay Carrier form. The figure is now sharp.

The deck with the Jaybird plugged out is so spacious. It seems to be able to carry a large number of robots.

The head and arms were removed at the beginning of the transformation, but can be combined to recreate Jaybird. Change the position of the forehead ornament to the bottom. Remove the parts on both sides as well.

Raise the head of Jader and connect the shoulder parts to the shaft hole one level above. Deploy the arms that were stored inside the shoulder armor.

Remove the wrists from both arms of King Jader and deploy the ball joints upward to attach the upper body of Jader and dock the left and right arm parts.

Connect this to the upper body and you have ......

It is possible to reproduce Jader. However, since the proportions of the King Jader form are emphasized, the figure in this state is not exactly as it was in the play. Even so, the fact that the Jader form can be reproduced with this parts configuration shows that the company understands the hearts of toy lovers.

The elbow joints are also turned sideways, so the lower body has almost no movement. This is where the "Proportion Up Parts for Jader" come in!

Standup! Jader!

Yes. AMAKUNI Kishin's Jader is completed! As expected, it is only a proportion-up version, and it has a wonderful degree of perfection for this size.

It is quite small in size, but like King Jader, the details of each part have been greatly rearranged, and the sense of density is amazing.

Fusion!"

When using the pedestal, use the included "grabbing type" prop. In "GaoGaiGar FINAL," a phoenix tail-like effect was seen when the figure merged into King Jader, and I still would have liked to see some effect parts!

Despite its small size and limited number of joint parts, it has excellent mobility. The head can only be lightly turned downward for the sake of deformation, but it moves so well that it more than makes up for it.

The waist is ball-jointed, so it is possible to recreate twists and turns.

She can also stand on one knee. This is a great idea!

Size comparison with J-Carrier. Is Jaydar smaller or Jay Carrier bigger? ...... Either way, you can tell that it is a wonderfully sculpted figure.

Next, please take a look at the Jaybird mode, which uses King Jader's head and arms as they are.

The wrists, which have been retractable in previous King Jader transformations, are positioned in front of the figure. Other than that, however, the configuration is the same as that of the previous Jaybird. Personally, I like this arrangement.

Note that when transforming to this form, the parts that correspond to the toes of the Jaybird also serve as locks for the base of the wrists, but be careful not to pull out the wrists unless they are firmly down.

There is a proportionally upgraded version here as well, but first let's take a look at the Jay Arc docked to the Jay Carrier as it is.

Compared to the previous toys, I feel that the bridge portion is somewhat smaller, but because of this, the huge size of the battleship seems to be further emphasized, which is quite nice.

The forward-facing five-round maser cannon also seems to have increased firepower.

From the side. The bridge looks smaller than the rest of the ship. And more: ......

This is the cover part covering the 5 maser guns. Now it looks more like the Jay Ark in the movie.

If you transform the bridge into Jayder mode with this docked state, you can see ......

Completion of Jayrider mode! I removed the cover of the 5-round maser cannon. You can choose your favorite!

And the bridge, in other words the upper body part of Jader, proportion up parts for Jay Arc (the face parts on the left side of the photo) are also prepared. Remove both arms of the Jayder and store the Jayder part inside these parts.

This is the completed state of the bridge. This will be reassembled.

Here is the Jaybird Proportion Up Ver. once both wrists of King Jayder are removed and the bridge is combined. This is certainly the Jaybird shape we are used to seeing.

Actually, it is possible to combine the Jaybird with some degree of retention without the built-in Jaybird body, but in order to keep it more securely combined, the Jaybird body should also be used properly.

Jader's arms can be stored on the sides of the legs.

Now let's take a look at the "White Ark" Jay Ark, the one we have been waiting for!

First of all, without the 5-round maser gun cover. This is still a good idea!

And then, the proportioned up version! This is indeed the Jay Ark! It is indeed the "White Ark"!

You can assemble multiple variations by combining the bow parts, 5-round maser gun covers, and bridges of different sizes, so it will be fun to find the balance that you like best.

When photographing the bridge from the bow, the distance is so great that the foreground is completely blurred.

Four turrets and a huge bridge. This is a very powerful image!

From the side. Compared to the smaller bridge, this one is much closer to the balance in the movie.

It is possible to recreate the King Jader with this sharp bow part attached, but I personally felt that the balance was a bit off, so I decided not to introduce it this time. If you decide to try it, please do so at your own risk.

The aft part of the ship where many thrusters can be seen. This is the real thrill and romance of a space battleship!

The missile launchers are actually molded on the upper surface of the chest block as well. In the King Jader form, it looks like the missiles would hit the head, but in the Jay Ark form, it looks perfect.

Naturally, the missile launchers on the legs can also be deployed.

Comparison with the previously released "AMAKUNI Kishin Genesic GaoGaiGar". I thought Genesic GaoGaiGar was huge, but King Jader's size exceeds it even more. After all, this lineup is impressive!

And comparison with the plastic kit "AMAKUNITECH GENESIC GAOGAIGER" scheduled to be released in May 2024.

This Genesic GaoGaiGar is a downsized version of the "AMAKUNI Kishin" version, so I put them together to see if they would match in terms of scale, but they are almost the same size.

I put down my pen once to make a closing comment at ......, but there was a hidden element that I discovered by accident while fiddling with another toy! Here it is!

To my surprise, it reacts to black light due to the fluorescent paint used in parts of it!

Not only the J Jewel and the bird's eye on the chest, but also the arms and other parts glow fluorescent pink as points.

The inside of the muzzle of the 5-round maser cannon was also painted! I don't notice this!

The muzzle of the antineutron cannon is hard to see because of the deep hole, but it looks like it is reacting at one point.

The light-emitting gimmick on the head also lights up. The jake-oceans also glow at points. This was an unexpected discovery, as it was not specifically mentioned in the manual.

There are other points that glow, but they are easier to see with the naked eye than with a camera, so please take a look when you get it.

This is the introduction of "AMAKUNI Kijin King Jader!

Both forms, King Jader and Jay Arc, are extremely cool and very satisfying to tinker with.

Some of you may have learned about the "AMAKUNI Kishin King Jader" through this article, but at this time, to our surprise, a second order has been decided!
