Aikatsu Friends! Popular casts of "Kemofure" and "Pri☆Chan" performed together in a dream! Anime JAM 2018" LUNCH SESSION REPORT

Anime JAM 2018, an annual year-end event featuring a large gathering of anime broadcast on TV Tokyo, was held at the Maihama Amphitheater on December 23, 2018.

This year's "Anime JAM" featured "Aikatsu Friends! Kemono Friends," and "Kiratto Pri☆Chan," as well as gorgeous artists such as i☆Ris, Wake Up, Girls!

The event was as exciting as the Christmas mood in the neighboring Dreamland.

Let me report on the afternoon session!

The quiz competition, where strong personalities clashed!

As the show was about to start, Aine Tomoki (c) of "Aikatsu Friends! (cv: Akane Matsunaga) from "Aikatsu Friends!", Mirai Momoyama (cv: Koko Hayashi) from "Kiratto Pri☆Chan", and Serval (cv: Yuka Ozaki) from "Kemono Friends" started their introductions. Tension in the audience was already soaring at the dream crossover that transcended the boundaries of the works!

With this enthusiasm, the curtain finally rose on "Anime JAM 2018. First, "Aikatsu Friends! Kemono Friends" and "Kiratto Pri☆Chan" casts performed a medley of Christmas songs.

Merry Christmas! The cast members appeared on stage one after another. The audience naturally clapped their hands as the cast members, dressed in Santa hats and costumes decorated with their image colors, sang to the lively rhythm of the song. The party mood was already in full swing.

After the spectacular opening, Tetsuya Yanagihara and Yoshiyuki Hirai of the comedy duo "American Crayfish" appeared on stage! From here, the two moderated the joint project of the three titles, "Anime JAM's customary quiz! The project was a quiz of general knowledge among the three titles.

This was a team competition to win a present. It was important to see what kind of answers each team could give to the quiz questions, and even if the answers were not correct, "interesting answers" were acceptable (here, "There is more than one correct answer! (Mirai Sasaki reacted violently to the American Crayfish's comment, "There is more than one correct answer! (Mirai Sasaki reacted violently to America Zarigani's comment, "There's more than one correct answer!)

From "Kiratto Pri☆Chan," the "Miracle Kiratts" team consisted of Kouko Hayashi, Miyu Kubota, and Nanami Atsugi. Two teams from "Aikatsu Friends!": the "Meltic StAr" team of Yu Serizawa, Yuki Wakai, and Yuka Morishima.

From "Aikatsu Friends! team was made up of Akane Matsunaga, Kabuki Kido, Karen Miyama, Yui Ninomiya and Emiri Touyama from "Aikatsu Friends!

From "Kemono Friends", the "Animal Biscuits" team consisted of Yuka Ozaki, Kana Motomiya and Saki Ono. Two teams were entered: the "PPP+Margay" team, composed of Mami Yamashita, Mirai Sasaki, Ryufu Nemoto, Kyoka Tamura, Aina Aiba, and Yukiko Tsukita.

The teams, each with their own strong personalities, engaged in a heated dead heat.

The teams were given a variety of quizzes such as "What channel is TV Tokyo on? The PPP team responded with reactions that rivaled those of comedians, while the "Animal Biscuits" team seemed overwhelmed by the "Pritchan" team, which was aggressively attacking its seniors. The "Aikatsu Friends! team, each team showed their individuality and the quiz was heated.

The MVPs in this corner were Yuu Serizawa, who won many points from Ms. Hirai by appealing with various facial expressions, and Aina Aiba, who showed her ability to cross the boundaries of the program and interact with the other teams.

The last question was "What is the name of Ms. Kakihara's mother? The last question was "What is Kakihara-san's mother's name? Unfortunately, no one answered correctly, but for some reason, the entire audience called out her mother's name in the end, a curious scene that unfolded.

The PPP team and the "Aikatsu Friends! teams played a game of rock-paper-scissors-scissors. As a result, the PPP team won! The quiz corner was closed with a high-end selfie stick as the first prize.

Artists with ties to Teletext, including i☆Ris and WUG, gathered at the quiz corner!

While the excitement of the quiz corner had not yet cooled down, the live corner started. The top performer was "WASUTA," an idol unit with ties to the "Pretty" series. The five members were excited to see the unique semicircular stage of the amphitheater for the first time at "Anime JAM." They opened the live with "Idol Time Puripara" OP "Saikoku Paladokkusu" and "KIRA KIRA Hologram" ED of "Kiratto Pri☆Chan".

Next up was guest artist Lia. She sang "Kizunairo-iro", the opening theme song of the 2010 anime "FORTUNE ARTERIAL Aka no Yakusoku". As the dramatic music and Lia's clear voice echoed, red penlights lit up in the audience! It was a moving sight to see the old and new anime fans unite and get excited about the live performance.

The three voice actresses, Koko Hayashi, Nanami Atsugi, and Yuka Morishima, took over the baton from Lia, who sang a slightly nostalgic cover of "Genesis of Aquarion" arranged in a danceable style. Puri☆Chan" currently airing in Japan, performed "Go! Up! Their energetic performance excited the audience.

The group that drew the loudest cheers on the live stage was the voice actress unit "i☆Ris" consisting of Saki Yamakita, Yu Serizawa, Himika Akaneya, Yuki Wakai, Miyu Kubota, and Azuki Shibuya. The girls, who have won the "Anime JAM" attendance award, are also artists who got their breakthrough through "Pripara," and appeared on stage with songs from the "Pripara" series in tow.

When the intro of "Dream Parade," the OP theme of the second season of "Prettypara," started playing, the audience's voltage soared! The audience cheered so loudly that it shook the amphitheater. i☆Ris was also magnificent to catch the audience's enthusiasm. They responded with a performance that used the entire stage.

Yamakita-san said, "It's a little early, but I wish I could give you a Christmas present. This song is the culmination of the "Pripara" series. The live performance was a fusion of two-dimensional and three-dimensional worlds! They were truly a live monster, a sumo wrestling match.

The voice actress unit "Wake Up, Girls!" consisting of Maasuke Yoshioka, Airi Nagano, Mimi Tanaka, Yoshinoh Aoyama, Nanami Yamashita, Kaya Okuno, and Miyu Takagi, gave an equally impressive stage performance as i☆Ris. Like I☆Ris, the girls have been regular attendees of "Anime JAM" since its inception in 2014, but this was the last time they performed at the event, which made the audience all the more emotional.

The seven sang two songs "16-sai no agape" and "Polaris" this time. Is it just me, or did the fact that they chose songs that were used in the anime rather than singles, show how much they cared about the "Anime JAM"? Particularly impressive was the audience-wide singalong towards the end of "Polaris. The live performance took place right in the middle of winter, just as it did in the movie, and I felt an indescribable sense of synchronization.

The "Pokemon" song echoed through Maihama!

After the audience was filled with tender feelings, ZAQ once again enlivened the venue with their passionate performance. With hard digital sound and loud guitar sound, ZAQ leaped onto the stage and performed "Seven Doors," the OP of "Trinity Seven. On this stage, he sang "Against The Abyss," the theme song of "Trinity Seven the Movie Vol. 2" for the first time. The latest number was just completed two days before the event, and ZAQ's sound was more aggressive than usual. The audience clapped their hands violently.

The last performer of the first half of the live part was Rika Matsumoto. Best Wish!" from "Pokémon: Best Wishes" OP and "Pokémon" first OP. and "Mezase Pokemon Master -20th Anniversary-", the first OP of "Pokemon" and loved by a wide range of audiences.

When Satoshi's voice shouted "I'm coming! the audience cheered the loudest of the day. As one would expect from a popular anime character who has been loved for 20 years.

Matsumoto, who said "I'm ...... mixed in with the cute (co-stars)" during the MC session, was greeted with a chorus of "Cute! The audience responded with a chorus of "Cute! In response, Matsumoto said, "I'm embarrassed! to which Matsumoto responded in the voice of Satoshi, an exchange that was irresistible to fans.

The most notable feature of "Mezase Pokemon Master - 20th Anniversary" was the incredible sense of unity. The audience was especially impressed by the sense of togetherness that was evident in "Mezasu Pokemon Master - 20thAnniversary". and "That's right, that's right. And finally, the audience chorused, "I wish I could be a Pokemon master!

This was a great reminder of the power of classic ani-songs! The audience was reminded once again of the power of classic anime songs.

In the second half of the live, cast members of each anime appeared one after another!

The second half of the live started with "Aikatsu Friends! stage. The audience cheered loudly when the cast members who sang "Soko ni shikakunai mono" appeared on stage in the costumes they wear in the anime. The cast members, who play the partners in the play, held hands and stepped on the stage together, showing how well they worked together with their best friends.

Akane Matsunaga and Ibuki Kido continued with "Minna Minna! and Emiri Touyama performed "Guided by You". The stage synchronized with images of live scenes from the movie caught the audience's attention.

And finally, "Aikatsu Friends! The entire cast performed the Christmas song "We wish you a merry Christamas BEST FRIENDS! The audience was treated to the happiest Christmas song ever.

Next was the "Kemono Friends" stage. First, the three members of Animal Biscuits appeared on stage in Christmas-like red and white costumes. They sang "Happy Biscuits" with great energy. PPP + Margay followed with "Hure, Hure! Fre! Best Friends," which further enlivened the venue.

After this excitement, the audience was now ready for the "Kiratto Pri☆Chan" stage.

All the cast members had performed as a unit in the first half of the live part, but now they appeared as cast members. They sang in the voices of their characters.

First, Miracle Kiratts performed "SUPER CUTE SUPER GIRL. The audience and the stage were united in a powerful call and response, and Miyu Kubota, who plays Emo Moeki, shouted "Emoii!

Emoiii! and looked happy.

Meltic StAr's next song "COMETIC SILHOUETTE" enlivened the last half of the live. i☆Ris' Yu Serizawa and Yuki Wakai showed aggressive performances, and their junior Yuka Morishima also gave a cool performance. The scene where Ms. Morishima stood in the center and showed her imposing behavior was especially emo!

And for the finale of the live, "Aikatsu Friends! and "Kemono Friends" were the finale of the live.

Aikatsu Friends! and "Welcome to Japari Park," the casts of both anime sang the theme songs of both anime together, and the audience joined in the excitement! It was a moving climax that clearly showed the power of anime, which is loved beyond the boundaries of its productions.
