PS4/Switch "V-Rally 4" will be released on April 11! The latest title after 17 years since "V-RALLY3
Oizumi Amuseo announced the release of "V-Rally 4" for PS4/Switch on Thursday, April 11.
V-Rally 4" is the latest title in the "V-Rally" series, which was first released in 1998 for the PlayStation and Game Boy Color consoles and garnered much attention as software that allowed users to enjoy an authentic rally experience on a home video game console.
This is the first new title in 17 years since "V-RALLY3," the third in the series, was released in 2003, and it offers the realistic operability that only a rally can offer. It also features a wide variety of cars and courses, including a total of 50 different vehicles from real manufacturers and more than 20 different race courses.
The official website for this title opened today, January 15 (Tuesday), and a trailer introducing the game is also available on the official website.
■Various car selections
The cars are divided into 5 categories: Rally, V-Rallycross, Hill Climb, Buggy, and Extreme Kahuna. These vehicles can be upgraded and customized.
Included manufacturers: HONDA, TOYOTA, MAZDA, FORD, BMW, etc.
Carrier Mode
In the Career Mode, players can sign contracts with real manufacturers and accumulate winnings from races to increase and upgrade their vehicles.
You can also participate in tournaments to increase your prestige and become a top-class rally racer.
Race courses with various terrains
More than 20 different race courses are available for each category, including courses based on real circuits, unstable swamps, and slippery icebergs. Courses range from America and Africa to one based on Yamanashi Prefecture in Japan.
■Realistic operability
Unlike arcade-style racing, rally race tracks are full of sharp curves, and one small mistake can be the cause of defeat.
The game is designed to be used in a variety of races, including rally, rally, and rally cars, and is also available in the Yamanashi Prefecture in Japan.
