The excitement of Ikebukuro again! Showa Retro Gacha Gacha Exhibition in Sendai" is now being held at AEON TOWN Sendai Izumi-Osawa until March 31, 2024. Gacha items from the old Bandai logo era as well as the nostalgic "Cosmos". We are offering a space of great excitement with even the mounts and gacha chronology of those days.

A talk show will also be held on March 24 (Sun.). We are also considering a project to appraise everyone's prized treasures! We are looking forward to welcoming gacha lovers from all over Japan! Admission and participation are free!

Here is another news. The other day, an application that reproduces the "Cosmos" vending machine was suddenly released. In fact, it took six years of repeated trial and error underwater to create the bomb. You can select from two types of vending machines, early or late model. The items that appear in the app are selected from my collection. The explanatory comments on the items are also carefully selected. The excitement when an item appears is sure to get you hooked!

The recent improvements in printing technology are remarkable. In the old days, gacha used to come out with a mini-notebook with only the cover roughly printed, but now all pages are printed in full color! It is an amazing evolution. Capsule toy fans must be overjoyed to collect them.

The gacha industry is currently in the midst of a rush to release bean books, and the "Mame Gasha Hon" series released by Bandai has been a particularly big hit! The capsules contain everything from novels by literary giants and the Globe-Trotter to travel and manga magazines.

In the midst of this bean book boom, we would like to introduce the "Mamegasha" series of books released by Tatsumi Shuppan, the "Japan Nostalgic Compendium Series"! Magnifying glass required! Let's aim to read through the impressive 128 pages completely!

It is no exaggeration to say that this is the first good book in the "Japan Nostalgia Compendium Series" that led the recent boom in retro food vending machines. Although the text cannot be followed with the naked eye, the photos are somehow visible.

In particular, I really want to check out the vending machine road map on the last page. I want to take a trip around the vending machines. The book is well bound, so I want to display it alongside the actual book. So, before I knew it, I got this book, too!

Instant noodles are a part of Japanese culture. Everyone loves instant noodles. Although it is a book of beans, the printed packages remind me of those tastes and those days. On Saturday afternoons when classes ended early, I looked in my drawer to see if I could find something to eat and found ......, a bag of instant noodles! Those days when I customized leftover ingredients from the fridge to satisfy my hunger....... Aah, it brought back so many things from the Showa era!

I bought such and such ice cream at a candy store! It's a small book, but you can check it out for yourself. The number of items in the book is also impressive. Jewel Box" was also popular with Pink Lady's commercials. And there's more! I also miss the ice cream sticks that were a big hit. How many kinds of cassettes can you remember?

Japan Cassette Compendium

In 2022, the popularity of cassette tapes was once again revived! As a recording medium, I have to admit that there were some inconveniences. I appreciate the auto-reverse function, but there are some parts that cannot be recorded, and if the tape gets loose, you have to rewind it with an empit ....... But it was fun to go to the trouble of making the index by hand! I miss and love these tedious tasks now. This little book conveys such feelings.

This item in the bean book genre is by no means easy to read, but cuteness prevails over convenience, doesn't it? What is it? It is an interesting world.

Nippon Kodo Aoun Voice Charm - Fukuya - 500 yen, total 5 kinds

There are commercial songs that you can't help but hum along to. A typical example is the "Aoun" commercial song, isn't it? In fact, it is also included in karaoke and I have sung it several times. The secret is to sing it in the style of Koichi Morita (the first commercial).

Aoun is now available as a gacha-gacha! The quality of the miniature incense sticks is high, and they are palm-sized and cute. It also comes with a charm, so you can attach it to your bag.

The lineup includes the vivid purple "Aoun Violet". The name "Blue Cloud" depicts Fuji in a clear sky. Ao'un agarwood," with beautiful curves like a thunderbolt. Seigumo Kuro (Blue Clouds and Black Clouds)" with a beautiful sea of clouds. The green color is easy on the eyes, and the straightforward name is "Aoun Green. I didn't know there were so many kinds.
