Legendary hot-blooded robot anime "Jeeg the Steel God," originally written by Go Nagai, will be broadcast on terrestrial television for the first time! The broadcast will begin on April 7 (Sun.) at 1:50 am!

The hot-blooded robot anime "Jeeg the Steel God," which aired in the WOWOW scramble slot in 2007, will be broadcast on terrestrial television for the first time in April 2024.

In 1975, Go Nagai's robot hero "Kôtetsu Jeeg" (serialized in "TV Magazine") was favored by many children because it added a new element of "magnetism" to the traditional robot manga.

In 2007, 30 years after the serialization, a sequel based on a new idea by Go Nagai was produced and broadcast in the WOWOW scramble slot as the TV anime "Steel God Jeeg".

Directed by Jun Kawagoe, director of "Shin Getter Robo: The Last Day of the World" and "Shin Getter Robo," and series composition by Tadashi Hayakawa, director of "Mazinkaiser SKL" and "Getter Robo Arc," the golden duo behind many Nagai works, with animation production by Actus, which later produced "Girls und Panzer The animation is produced by Actus, which later produced "Girls und Panzer.
