Puyopuyo Puzzle Pop, a completely new version of the nationally popular action puzzle "Puyopuyo," will be released on Apple Arcade on April 4!

Sega announced that the action puzzle game "Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop" will be available on the Apple Arcade, a subscription service on the App Store, from April 4, 2024 (Thursday).

The "Puyopuyo" series has been loved for more than 30 years since its release in 1991, when the first "Puyopuyo" was released for the MSX2 and Famicom Disk System, followed by the arcade version and Mega Drive version from Sega in 1992. The game was an explosive hit thanks to its simple and easy-to-understand game system, cute characters, and the game's gameplay, which introduced a battle format for the first time in a falling object action puzzle game. In March 2018, the game became an official title of JeSU (Japan e-Sports Union), and professional players have been born, making the game a hot topic in the e-sports scene.
