It was announced that the TV anime of the novel "I'll Be a Bad Girl in History," currently being published by KADOKAWA Beads Log Bunko, will begin airing in October 2024.

The series has sold more than 850,000 copies (including digital editions) and is based on a popular novel written by Izumi Ohkido. The main character, who dislikes the "good girl dialect" that is often used by legitimate heroines, is reincarnated as a villainess and aims to become a villainess who will leave her mark on history.

The broadcast date has been announced as October 2024, and information on the cast and staff has also been released.
The anime adaptation will be directed by Yuyuki Yanase, with series composition by Sawako Hirabayashi, and produced by MAHO FILM, the production company behind "Nijiiro Days" and "Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomoni. and "Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomoni" will be in charge of production.

Two main character cast members have also been announced. Kanna Nakamura will play the role of Alicia, the villainous daughter of an otome game, and Kaito Ishikawa will play the role of the prince of the Durkis Kingdom.
