A teaser visual for the second season of the TV anime "MF Ghost," scheduled to air in 2024, has been released. In addition, "MF Ghost BATTLE DIGEST," a compilation of car racing battles and Eurobeat scenes from the first season, has also been released.

MF Ghost" is based on a manga by Shuichi Shigeno, which has been serialized in "Young Magazine" (Kodansha) since 2017. It is the successor to the legendary motorsports work "Initial D," which depicted the "legend of the fastest car on public roads," and has sold a total of 5 million copies.

The story is about the main character, Katagiri Natsuki, who competes in the "MFG," a race held on closed public roads. Katagiri Natsukou challenges his rivals, who drive the world's most powerful cars such as Porsche, Lamborghini, and Ferrari, to the race in an inefficient car, the Toyota 86GT. The TV anime began airing in October 2023, and the giant-killing by the inefficient machine, the powerful car racing battles, and the insert song "Eurobeat" attracted a lot of attention.

The visual depicts Katagiri Natsukou, drawn by character designer Onda Naoyuki. It depicts a Toyota 86 GT, an Alpine A110, and a Porsche 718 Cayman GTS driving in the pouring rain, reminiscent of the fierce battle in the MFG Round 2 "Ashinoko GT". Expectations are high for how the three young drivers, Natsuki Katagiri (CV: Yuma Uchida), a student of Takumi Fujiwara, Mitsuki Sawatari (CV: Ryota Osaka), a genius returning from France, and Mikhail Beckenbauer (CV: Hiroshi Kamiya), the young "emperor" of MFG, will battle it out in the Ashinoko GT.

BATTLE DIGEST, a specially edited version of the 1st Season's car racing battles and Eurobeat, will be distributed on March 19 (Tue.)!

MF Ghost BATTLE DIGEST", a compilation of battles from all 12 episodes of the 1st Season of the TV anime "MF Ghost", began its pre-distribution today, March 19 (Tue.) at 6 p.m. It is a specially edited digest of the battle at Odawara Pikes Peak, the opening round of MFG, using all 16 Eurobeat songs. Some of the songs, such as LESLIE PARRISH's "KING OF THE CENTURY," were not used in the TV broadcast, but the unused parts are used in this digest video.
