Night Jellyfish Can't Swim" is a completely original animation work directed by Ryohei Takeshita ("Eromanga Sensei" director) and written by Yuki Yaku ("Weak Character Tomozaki-kun" original story). Set in Shibuya, a town overflowing with identity, it is a coming-of-age ensemble drama that depicts the growth of girls who "want to find what they love. The animation is produced by Animation Studio, and features a splendid cast including popman3580 as the character designer and Junichiro Taniguchi as the character designer.

The synopsis, advance cuts, and web trailers for the first episode of the TV anime, which will begin airing on April 6 (Sat), have now been released.

In addition, a live distribution will be held on April 6 (Sat.) from 8:30 p.m., the day of the first episode broadcast. Four members, Ms. Miki Ito, Ms. Riyo Takahashi, Ms. Miu Tomita, and Ms. Miyuri Shimabukuro, will appear and talk about the appeal of this work, which is about to be broadcast.

Episode 1 "Jellyfish of the Night

Synopsis

Mahiru Kouzuki is an ordinary high school girl. She used to be an illustrator named "KAIZUKI Yoru," but she has become a mass-produced girl because of her surroundings. One day, Mahiru meets a mysterious girl, Kanon YAMANOUCHI, in Shibuya at night when Halloween is approaching. Mahiru is somewhat attracted to her, who says she likes pictures of jellyfish, a trauma that continues to haunt her in Shibuya. Hanane, who works as an anonymous singer in order to follow her own love, uses this special encounter as an opportunity to invite Mahiru to join her.
