Published by KADOKAWA Dengeki Bunko, the popular light novel "Wolf and Spice" won the 12th Dengeki Novel Award (Gold Prize) and will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2021. The series has now sold more than 5 million copies in total, and the sequel "Wolf and Spice Spring Log" and the spin-off series "Shin-setsu: Wolf and Spice, Wolf and Parchment" have also been published, boasting high popularity not only in Japan but also overseas.

A completely new anime project, "Wolf and Spice: merchant meets the wise wolf," announced as the series' 15th anniversary finale project, will be broadcast in April 2024. Animation production will be handled by Paschone. It has also been announced that Jun Fukuyama (playing Kraft Lawrence) and Ami Koshimizu (playing Holo), who also voiced the previous anime series, will continue their roles.

The new work will finally begin airing today, April 1 (Mon.) at 25:30 on TV stations such as Teletext and others. The non-credit ending of the ending theme "Andante" sung by ClariS has been released prior to the first broadcast, and the ending video expresses the journey of Lawrence and Holo in a pop style with the bright voice of ClariS. The ending illustration is by Ju Bunkura, the original character designer.
In addition, the song "Andante" will be distributed from 24:00 today, April 1 (Monday), prior to the anime broadcast.

＜Synopsis.
Lawrence, a peddler, stops by the village of Pasloe to trade for wheat as the harvest festival is about to begin.
However, Yarei, the negotiator he is looking for, is trapped by the custom of worshipping "Horo," the god of harvest, and he is unable to see her.
Lawrence has no choice but to leave the village, and that night he meets a girl who sneaks into the wagon.
She has animal ears and a magnificent tail, and calls herself "Hollow," the same name as the village god.

A young peddler, Kraft Lawrence, spends his days selling his goods from town to town with a horse that pulls a wagon as his partner.

She calls herself "Wise Wolf" and is the incarnation of a wolf that governs fertility.
