The spring anime "The Fable," scheduled to start airing on April 6, 2024 (Saturday), has released its first episode synopsis and advance scene photos.

The Fable" is serialized by Katsuhisa Minami in "Young Magazine" and was made into a live-action movie starring Junichi Okada in 2019 and 2021, which was a huge hit, grossing over 3.1 billion yen in total.

Fabre, a.k.a. "Fabre," is an invincible assassin who was trained as a gifted assassin from his childhood and is able to brilliantly kill any enemy within six seconds. One day, he receives a sudden order from the boss of the organization that he must not kill anyone for one year, and he is forced to lead a completely new life in which he does not kill anyone.

He takes the name Akira Sato and spends his first normal life as a professional. However, the unsettling atmosphere that stirs in the midst of his peaceful daily life does not leave Akira alone.... Will he be able to carry out this biggest and most difficult mission? ......

＜Synopsis.
The most powerful genius assassin, a.k.a. "Fabre".
One day, after finishing his work, "Fable" is ordered by the boss of the organization to take a one-year leave from his job as a hitman.
In order to lead a normal life, he changes his name to Akira Sato and moves to Osaka with Yoko, his partner in the organization.
The two knock on the door of the Makuro clan, which will take care of them in Osaka for a year.

The first part of the series was serialized in Kodansha's "Young Magazine" for about five years until November 2019, and the first part was completed. The second part, "The Fable the second contact," which gained popularity, will be regrettably completed in July 2023. A total of 24 million copies of the book have been sold.
It has been called "the most interesting manga of the moment" by many celebrities. Currently, Part I, Volumes 1-22 and Part II, Volumes 1-9 are on sale.
