From the TV animation "Kaiju No. 8" comes the large monster "Kaiju No. 8" with a fortitude of 9.8 in the Mega Soft Vinyl series!

KAIYODO's large soft vinyl finished product series, Mega Soft Vinyl, is now available for pre-order starting Monday, April 15, 2024. The release is scheduled for October 2024.

From the spring anime currently airing "Kaiju No. 8," a large monster with a fortitude of 9.8, "Kaiju No. 8" appears in the Mega Soft Vinyl series. Including the horns, the figure is approximately 53 cm in length.

The sculptor is Nendo-seijin (RYO), who specializes in sculpting dinosaurs and creatures. The figure depicts a character with a unique origin in a simple yet powerful pose, clenching his fists as he confronts his enemies.

The details of the figure's entire body, which is completely black, have been sculpted with great attention to detail, from the scale-like outer skin on its chest and shoulders to the unique texture of the shell covering its arms, legs, and flanks, and even the individual muscle fibers peeking through the gaps between the skin and the shell.

Paintwork has been arranged in consideration of the large size, and the skull-like face and the protrusions along the spine have been meticulously smudged to express the texture. The light blue lines running throughout the figure's body are also vividly colored to show the overflow of energy from inside the body. Only Kaiyodo, which has produced a wide variety of monsters, could have produced the Mega Soft Vinyl Kaiju No. 8. The overwhelming power of this figure is definitely something to behold in person.
