Fifteen years have passed since Optimus Prime destroyed the Space Bridge, the passageway to the planet Cybertron, and the war between the righteous Autobots and the evil Decepticons ended.
Siblings Robbie and Moe of the Mart family move from Philadelphia to the small town of Witwicky, Pennsylvania, where they accidentally enter a cave that gives birth to a new Earth-born Transformer called Terran.
Two of the Terrans, Zwitch and Slash, and Robby and Mo find themselves emotionally linked by a cyber-sleeve attached to their hands. The two Terrans then begin to live together as the Marto family.
