OLDCODEX sings the theme song for the Netflix-distributed anime "ULTRAMAN!

OLDCODEX, a unique unit consisting of vocalist Ta_2 (Tatsu) and painter YORKE. (Yorke), has revealed that they will sing the theme song for the anime "ULTRAMAN," which will be distributed worldwide exclusively on Netflix starting April 1, 2019.

This information was announced at the "OLDCODEX Tour "GROWTH TO BE ONE"" replacement show held on Tuesday, January 15. This is the first anime tie-up song in about six months since their 16th single "Heading to Over" (OP theme song for the TV anime "Free! -Dive to the Future-") released last July, and the title of the new song is "Sight Over The Battle". The lyrics are written by YORKE., composed by Ta_2, and arranged by Kotobuki Koyama.

The tour, "OLDCODEX Tour "GROWTH TO BE ONE"", which started in August 2018 at Zepp Diver City, toured eight locations throughout Japan and also held overseas shows in Shanghai and Taiwan. The tour featured three singles, all of which were tie-up songs for anime that were broadcast and screened last year, and the band performed as aggressively as ever.

It was also announced that they are currently working hard on an album and are aiming to hold their next tour. They also announced that they will hold "OLDCODEX MOBiLE MEMBER'S LIMITED SHOW "hangover" vol.6" in May.
