Hot topic! Aslan's Zugok is finally made into a Gundam model kit! Gundam SEED FREEDOM" Latest Kits [62nd Shizuoka Hobby Show]!

This event is one of the largest model and hobby events in Japan, and is held annually in Shizuoka Prefecture, where many model manufacturers gather. This year, a total of 97 companies and 2 organizations exhibited, far more than last year.
This year, the event will be held on the 8th and 9th as vendor invitation days, and on the 10th as an invitation day for local elementary, junior high, and high school students to familiarize themselves with the modeling culture. The 11th and 12th are open to the general public( registration for the open days is closed).

Akiba Research Institute was on site again this year! Let us introduce you to some of the new items we found at the booths of various manufacturers.

This report focuses on the latest kits of the "SEED" series, including the much-talked-about "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM! In particular, the Zugok, which had everyone wondering, "How is there a Gundam inside? was the focus of many visitors' attention.

The Destiny Gundam that played a major role in "Gundam SEED FREEDOM". The docking form with the Zeus Silhouette that appeared towards the end of the game was also cool and will remain in Gundam history!


The kit also reproduces the transformation and combining gimmicks well. The huge cannon, which is taller than the body itself, has also been well sculpted, and looks like it will be very satisfying to build.
