Three hobby stores opened in April 2024. Soutan Hobby Akihabara opened on April 29 next to the Mister Donut Akihabara store (13-9, Sotokanda 3-chome, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo). Sutan Hobby is a retail and wholesale store that handles a wide variety of domestic and foreign hobby products, mainly figures and plastic models. The store has a contract to represent foreign character and hobby brands in Japan, so foreign hobbyists should definitely check it out.

April 26 "Amiami Akihabara Figure Tower Store

Amiami Akihabara Figure Tower Store is a figure store that occupies an entire building. It will be one of the largest figure stores in Akihabara, with the entire building from the first to eighth floors dedicated to figure stores.

April 6 "TOKYO HOBBY CENTER

TOKYO HOBBY CENTER" is now open on the first floor of the Hakuto Shobo head office building (5-1-15 Sotokanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo). Until recently, "Hakuto Shobo Co., Ltd." was written on the front glass door of the first floor, but it is now the "TOKYO HOBBY CENTER" store.

April 12, "Sengoku Densho New No.2 Store"

On April 12, 2024 (Friday), "Sengoku Densho" new No.2 store opened on the former site of "Nishikawa Denshi". Speaking of Nishikawa Denshi, the company announced its closure in December 2023. The company then announced that Sengoku Densho would take over the screw sales business from Nishikawa Denshi, and announced that the start of the screw business would be around April. On April 12 (Fri.), Sengoku Densho opened its second new store. The location is the former tenant of Nishikawa Denshi.
