Gosho Aoyama, the creator of "Detective Conan," "Majikku Kaito," "4th Third," and many other hits, will be adapting his popular work "YAIBA," which was serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday from 1988 #39 to 1993 #50, into a complete anime.

YAIBA" is an action action drama in which a wild samurai, Yaiba Kurogane, who is training in the jungle, returns to Japan to pursue his samurai spirit in search of greater strength in the land of his training. Serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday since 1988, it was completed in 1993. Gosho Aoyama's popular manga series has sold a total of 17 million copies in 24 volumes.

A complete anime adaptation has now been announced.
To commemorate the announcement of the complete anime adaptation, a visual poster newly drawn by Gosho Aoyama appeared in Weekly Shōnen Sunday No. 24, which went on sale today, May 8. The poster depicts the main character, Tetsubasa, looking at the viewer with the Thunder God Sword in his hand, as well as various other swords that play key roles in the work.

It was also announced that Gosho Aoyama, the author of the original story, will completely supervise the scenario of the film. In addition, a special trailer was also released.
