May 10 is "Maid's Day! TV animation "Kimi wa Meido-sama. Illustrations drawn by the original author, Shotan, were unveiled!

The TV anime "Kimi wa Meisama" which will be broadcasted from October 2024. The illustration of snow drawn by Shotan, the author of the original work, was released to commemorate "Maid's Day" on May 10th, today.

The illustration is based on the novel "Kimi wa Meido-sama" by Shotan. The original work is an action love comedy by Shotan. The total number of copies sold has exceeded 600,000 with seven volumes already in serialization. It is a unique comic that started as an original coterie magazine published by Shotan and serialized in Shogakukan's "Sunday Ueburi" in 2020.

The TV anime "Kimi wa Meido-sama. is scheduled to be broadcast in October 2024 on BS Asahi and "NUMAnimation," a 24-station TV network in Japan.
When the teaser PV and visuals were released in March, it was announced that Toshiki Kumagai will play the role of Hitoyoshi Yokoya and Rena Ueda will play the role of Shue/Yuki.

In commemoration of "Maid's Day" on May 10, an illustration of Yuki drawn by the original author, Shotan, has been released. The newly released illustration depicts Snow trying to put her favorite Katsuta bread (yakisoba bread) in her mouth under a blue sky with laundry flying in the wind in the background. A towel from the Katsuta Souzai Shop is also depicted beside the bread, which shows Snow's love for Katsuta Sauce. No one would guess from Snow's cute maid appearance as she takes a rest from her chores that she is an assassin. The gap between the two is sure to be a source of inspiration for many people.
