Racing machines from "Initial D" and "MF. Ghost" are now available as plastic kits! Summary of Aoshima's Latest Kits [62nd Shizuoka Hobby Show].

The 62nd Shizuoka Hobby Show was held at Twinmesse Shizuoka in Shizuoka Prefecture from May 8 (Wed) to 12 (Sun), 2024.

This event is one of the largest model and hobby events in Japan, held annually in Shizuoka Prefecture, where many model manufacturers gather. This year, a total of 97 companies and 2 organizations exhibited, far exceeding last year's event.
This year, the 8th and 9th are vendor invitation days, and the 10th is an invitation day for local elementary, junior high, and high school students to familiarize themselves with modeling culture. The 11th and 12th were open to the public.

Akiba Research Institute was there again to cover the event! Let us introduce you to some of the new items we found at the booths of various manufacturers.

In this article, we introduce new products from Aoshima Bunka Kyozai-sha, a long-established manufacturer that is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Among them, we picked up popular car models that appear in Shuichi Shigeno's original comics and animations called "Initial D" and "MF.
