Currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine! The popular romantic comedy "Kuroiwa medaka ni watashi no kawaii ga kanai" (Black rock medaka can't understand my cuteness) is being adapted into an anime!

DMM pictures, an animation label operated by DMM.com, has announced the TV anime adaptation of the popular romantic comedy "Kuroiwa Medaka ni Watashi no Kawaii ga Tsunai Nai," currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine," and has released a teaser visual and PV of the anime adaptation.

Kuroiwa Medaka ni Watashi no Kawaii ga Tsunai" is a popular manga by Ran Kuze, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), which has sold over 1.4 million copies in total. The long-awaited TV anime adaptation has now been decided.

She is a beautiful and stylish girl! Mona Kawai, a woman who is as popular as she is breathtaking. However, Mona's school life changes drastically with the arrival of a transfer student, Medaka Kuroiwa, who does not pay attention to her. She struggles to win Medaka over by any means necessary!

Sometimes a little bit too much fun! A love comedy of a popular girl and an abstinent boy unfolds.

In the teaser visual that was unveiled for the first time, a medaka with a puzzled expression is depicted in response to Mona's overly cute appeals. In the PV of the anime adaptation, we can see Mona and Medaka in action, and we can look forward to seeing how they will interact with each other in the anime.

In addition, comments from the original author, Ran Kuze, and the director, Yoshiaki Okumura, have arrived on the occasion of the anime adaptation.

Director: Yoshiaki Okumura
Mona has been loved and nurtured since she was a child, and Medaka has been raised under a strict code of conduct.
They have different upbringings, personalities, and values, but they end up in the same classroom next to each other. Their high school life is filled with such excitement.
I hope to reproduce Ran Kuze's sexy lines and transparent colors in the anime as much as possible to depict the story of Mona and Medaka.

A follow & repost campaign will be held to commemorate the decision to make an animation!
