Ubisoft announced that Assassin's Creed Shadows, the latest installment in the Assassin's Creed series, will be released on November 15, 2024.

The game will be available for Ubisoft+, PlayStation5, Xbox Series X|S, Mac with Apple silicon (Mac App Store) (*1) and Windows PC (Ubisoft Store / Epic Games Store). Ubisoft+ subscribers and purchasers of the Gold Edition, Ultimate Edition, and Collector's Edition will be the first to play the game in Early Access, which will begin on November 12, three days before the game's release.

Developed by Ubisoft Québec (*2), the company behind "Assassin's Creed Odyssey," "Assassin's Creed Shadows" takes place in 16th century Azuchi-Momoyama period Japan. In a time of war and turmoil on the road to unifying the country, the emergence of new powers and the presence of conspiring aliens threaten the land.

In this film, you will follow their intersecting stories as Naoe, a ninja and assassin from Iga, and Yasuke, a formidable samurai whose story is passed down through history. Through their stories, you will encounter important historical figures and share in the fate of two people who will usher in a new era in Japan.

Naoe and Yasuke have unique quests, skills, weapons, and stats that allow them to enjoy different play styles. Use Naoe's stealth and Yasuke's combat skills to explore different ways to achieve your goals. Naoe can use light, shadow, sound, and changes in the environment to deceive the enemy's eyes and work undercover. Yasuke can also confront enemies by launching relentless attacks even if he is surrounded by them.

Assassin's Creed Shadows" allows players to explore a vast open world where the landscape changes with the weather and seasons. From grand castle towns and bustling ports to peaceful shrines and idyllic landscapes, Assassin's Creed Shadows brings Azuchi-Momoyama period Japan to life with the latest Anvil engine and the power of new generation consoles.

Information plays an important role in these unstable times. Under the new search system, players will build a network of secret agents to explore new areas and track down targets. They can also gather allies with advanced specialized skills and abilities to help them in their quests. Customize your own lair by building, laying out, and decorating it. You can also train new allies in your lair.
