Commemorating the 45th anniversary of the Gundam series! Gundam Cinema Fest" will be held! Theatrical trilogy, Gyakusha, and Hathaway will be screened at theaters nationwide!

The event will feature the first theatrical film in the series, "Mobile Suit Gundam" theater trilogy, "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack," which depicts the final battle between Amuro and Char, and "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway Noah," which depicts the exploits of Amuro and Char's successor, Hathaway Noah, who inherited the will of Amuro and Char, and drew approximately 1 million viewers to experience the powerful images. Senko no Hathaway" will be screened sequentially in theaters nationwide from June 7, 2024 (Friday).

This event will be held in conjunction with "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE -ROAD TO 2025-," a major Gundam series event (excluding some theaters) to connect the wishes of Gundam fans nationwide toward the year 2025, when the Osaka-Kansai World Expo will be held in Osaka. This is a special event to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Gundam series, where you can enjoy both the movie and the event.

The "Gundam Cinema Fest" will be held to screen the five outstanding theatrical works of the Gundam series!
The first theatrical version of the "Mobile Suit Gundam" trilogy, "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack," which depicts the final battle between Amuro and Char, and "Mobile Suit Gundam: Senko no Hathaway" which depicts the activities of Hathaway Noah, who inherited Amuro and Char's will, will be shown sequentially at theaters nationwide.

Gundam Series
Mobile Suit Gundam," which began broadcasting in 1979, established the "real robot anime" genre, which could not be described in terms of simple good versus evil, which had been the trend in robot anime up to that time, with its realistic depiction of war and detailed scientific research, treating robots as "weapons" called "mobile suits," and complex, deeply woven human drama. The series has continued to create a huge boom in the genre.
Since then, 24 TV animation series, 30 theatrical/screening series, 27 OVA series, and many distribution, event videos, TV specials, etc. have been produced, and the series has been highly supported both domestically and internationally for a long period of time.
