Summer Anime "Wistoria of the Staff and the Sword" Character PV revealed! High fantasy action of a staff and a sword from Tono Omori of "Danmachi" fame!

A character PV has been released, in which we can also hear the skills and voices of the main characters of the summer anime "Wistoria of the Staff and the Sword," which is scheduled to be broadcast from July 2024.

The original light novel series "Wistoria of the Cane and the Sword" has sold more than 17 million copies. In a world where magic is absolute supremacy, the story is about Will Serforto, a boy who cannot use magic, and his quest to become the "Supreme Five Wands (Magia Vendetta)".

This time, a character PV has been released, in which we can hear the skills and voices of the main characters from the work, which will be broadcast from July 2024.

In the character PV, new characters such as Rosti Naumann, Will's roommate who is good at making magic items, and Workner Norgram and Eduard Serpens, teachers at the magic academy where Will and his friends attend, are also revealed.
It was revealed that Tomokazu Seki and Koji Yusa will play the roles of Workner and Eduardo, respectively.

Tomokazu Seki will play the role of Workner, who understands Will, and Koji Yusa will play the role of Eduardo, who is cold toward Will who cannot use magic. The cast has also commented on the new characters, so be sure to check them out.

Rosti Nauman (CV.?????)

Will's roommate, a student of magic engineering. He is good at making magic items. He is kind and accepts anything Will asks him to do, but his love for Will is so strong that he is wary of anyone who approaches him.

Worker Norgram (CV. Tomokazu Seki)

A teacher at the Academy of Magic. He is in charge of "Magical Biology. He is very strict in his classes, but he is kind to his students by giving them remedial lessons. He is one of the few people in the academy who understands Will, and he has a sweet side, giving him hints to earn credits when he returns from defeating dungeons, but he is a highly capable mage.

First of all, when I first saw the character, I was thrilled to see that he was a nice guy with a thin line, something I haven't seen in a long time! I was excited!

Eduard Serpens (CV. Koji Yusa)

Teacher at the Academy of Magic. He is in charge of "Dark Magic" and "History of Magical Sources. He believes in the absolute supremacy of magic and is cold toward Will, who cannot use magic. He is a first-rate mage, freely manipulating advanced spells and applying even lower-level spells to create powerful attacks. He is also one of the "Attainers" who once climbed the tower and came closest to the "Supreme Five Wands (Magia Vendetta).

The original light novel series has sold more than 17 million copies, and as of 2023, the TV anime is scheduled to be produced up to its fifth season. The "Wistoria of the Staff and the Sword" is a "sword and sorcery" school fantasy comic that dynamically depicts the world view with beautiful illustrations by up-and-coming manga artist, Sei Aoi. Currently serialized in "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine," the much-anticipated TV anime adaptation has been decided.

Will, a boy, enrolls in a magic academy to become a full-fledged mage. He is a hard worker, but he has a fatal weakness as a mage. He cannot use magic at all. He is cold-shouldered by his classmates and teachers, and sometimes feels discouraged, but he presses on with a strong spirit. Even though he can't use a wand, he still wields a sword and fights his way through in a world where magic reigns supreme. He believes in the power given only to him. Directed by Tatsuya Hara (Action Director of "Chainsaw Man"). The sword-and-sorcery battles that are the cornerstone of the original story are depicted with high quality action.
