Summer Anime "Kinnikuman" Perfect Choujin Hajime Hen, first broadcast will be episode 0 looking back at famous scenes from the past! Japan premiere featuring Mamoru Miyano and Daisuke Ono to be held!

The first broadcast of the TV anime "Kinnikuman" Perfect Origin, which will be aired on CBC/TBS from July 2024, will be episode 0, which will look back on the friendship and fierce battles between Kinnikuman and his friends up until now.

In episode 0, many scenes from the past series leading up to the Perfect Origin Arc, including the monster extermination episode, the Choujin Olympics episode, the Seven Demon Choujin episode, the Golden Mask episode, the Dream Choujin Tag Team episode, and the Kinnikusei Throne Contest episode, will be newly visualized as the 2021 Kinnikuman version for the first time in approximately 30 years.

In addition, a Japan premiere will be held at Shinjuku Wald 9 on June 23, prior to the broadcast. The Japan premiere will include an advance screening of episodes 0, 1, and 2 of the TV anime "Kinnikuman" Perfect Choujin Hajime Hen, and a talk show featuring Mamoru Miyano, who plays Kinnikuman, and Daisuke Ono, who plays Terryman.

The original "Kinnikuman" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) in 1979 by author Yudetamago (Takashi Shimada, in charge of the original scenario, and Yoshinori Nakai, in charge of the artwork). The series is currently being serialized in "Weekly Playboy" and "Shukupre NEWS" (both published by Shueisha). The series has sold over 77 million copies in total, and the latest volume, volume 84, is currently on sale.

The story is about Kinnikuman, a clumsy and stupid dropout superhero from the planet Kinniku, who through hard work, friendship, and victory eventually grows up to become the strongest man in the superhero fighting world.

The new series is a continuation of the previously broadcast Kinnikuman: The Battle for the Kinniku Throne, and is directed by Yoh Satou, with series composition by Makoto Fukami, character design by Hiroki Marufuji, and music by Koji Takanashi, The role of Kinnikuman will be played by Mamoru Miyano.

This work will be broadcast every Sunday night from July 2024 at 11:30 p.m. on the "Agaru Anime" slot on the CBC/TBS network of 28 stations nationwide. It will also be broadcast on BS11.
