Sequel to TV anime "A of Diamonds act II" to be produced! A congratulatory illustration from Yuji Terashima, the original author, has also arrived!

The decision to produce a sequel to the TV anime "A of Diamonds act II" has been announced.

Dia no A", which celebrated its 10th anniversary as an anime series last fall, is based on the popular comic by Yuji Terashima and has been broadcast since 2013. The main character, Eizumi Sawamura (CV. Ryota Osaka), enrolls in Aodo High School, a prestigious high school baseball team, and joins Kazuya Miyuki (CV. Takahiro Sakurai), Satoru Furuya (CV. Nobunaga Shimazaki), Haruichi Kominato (CV. Natsuki Hanae) and others in their quest to become the best high school baseball player in the country.

After broadcasting the FIRST SEASON and SECOND SEASON, "act II," a new series similar to the original, was broadcast from 2019 to 2020.

The year before last, the original comic "Diamond A act II" ended its 16-year serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine. Fans have long been eagerly awaiting the production of an anime sequel to this work, which has reached its grand conclusion, but the silence has finally been broken. Yuji Terashima sent us an illustration congratulating the decision to produce a sequel.

Although the "decision to produce a sequel" was announced, other information remains a mystery. We look forward to hearing more information as we look back on the past seasons.
