Completely new anime "Toukendanbu Kaze - Chikashi Samurai Raumono-" will be screened in theaters for three weeks from August 16 (Fri.)!

The film is based on the PC browser & smartphone app game "Touken Ranbu ONLINE.
The game is a sword training simulation game in which players take on the role of a priest (saniwa) and lead "sword men," famous swordsmen transformed into warriors, to fight for the preservation of history. Since its launch in January 2015, "Touurabu" or "Sword Ranbu ONLINE" has gained a huge following and has contributed to the sword boom that has swept the nation. It has been a success in many media mixes such as anime, musicals, consumer games, stage, movies, and kabuki, and has taken the entertainment world by storm.

Kenichi Suemitsu, who has written and directed stage plays and written the series composition and screenplay for the anime "Touken Ranbu Kaze -Kyouden Konyuru Honnouji-," will write the screenplay for this film as well, and the voice actors from the original game "Touken Ranbu ONLINE" will provide character voices.
The new story of the swordsmiths, which has not been depicted before, will be revealed.

A teaser visual of Yamambagiri Kunihiro and Heshikiri Hasebe has been released. In "Haden - Chikashi Samurai Raumono Mono Rara -", we will depict Heshikiri Hasebe's life as a kinsamurai. I had hoped to depict this period on stage, but for various reasons I was unable to do so, so I chose it as the subject matter for "Haden: Chikashi Samurai Raumonotachi. The story describes how the role of kinsamurai changed from the first kinsamurai, Yamambagiri Kunihiro, to Heshikiri Hasebe, from Heshikiri Hasebe to Mikazuki Munechika, and from Mikazuki Munechika to Yamambagiri Kunihiro. In the stage version, this was only explained in the dialogue, so I hope that by presenting it to you in the form of "Saden - Chikashi Samurai Raumonara", you will be able to feel the depth of the Honmaru and the Mawaru Honmaru.

I hope you will be able to feel the depth of the sword stele Honmaru and Mawari Honmaru.
