Mononokai Karakasa the Movie" (Foxy Nagata/Twin Engine) began serial distribution on Comic DAYS today, May 26, 2024.

Mononokai" was broadcast on Fuji Television's late-night anime slot "Noitamina" in 2007. It is a popular work that ranked high among dozens of works in a fan poll held as a project for the 15th anniversary of "Noitamina". It is also the starting point for director Kenji Nakamura, who has created such unique works as "Flying Trapeze," "C," "Suspension Ball," and "Gatchaman Crows.

Last year, as one of the commemorative projects for the 15th anniversary of the broadcast of "Mononokai," a completely new theatrical project was announced, set in the inner palace. Animation production is by "EOTA," which unites the production studios of the Twin Engine Group. Within EOTA, there are many creator units of various sizes, and for "Mononokai the Movie," director Kenji Nakamura is leading the team.
