The series of "The Summer the Light Died" has sold a total of 2.1 million copies and will be adapted into an anime! Comments and illustrations from the original author, Moku Moku Ren, have arrived!

An anime adaptation of the crazy coming-of-age horror story "The Summer the Light Died" (published by KADOKAWA) about a boy and "Nanika," who takes the form of his best friend, has been announced.

The original manga of "The Summer the Light Died" is currently serialized in "Young Ace UP" and has sold more than 2.1 million copies (as of May 24), written by up-and-coming author Moku Moku Ren.

To commemorate the announcement of the anime adaptation, a comment on the anime adaptation and a newly drawn illustration have arrived from the author, MokuMokuRen.
