The Akihabara area has been experiencing a rapid influx of stores moving in and out of the area, and when it was announced that Ecute Akihabara would be opened in spring 2025, Tokyo Food Bar in Akihabara Station was closed due to construction.

May 29 "Kotteru Ramen Kitaro

A new ramen restaurant "Kottori Ramen Kitaro" opened in Akihabara. The restaurant is located in the former site of a tenant that used to house "Kagemusha No. 2. Characterized by a sign that looks like "Gegege" from all angles, "Kitaro" sells a rich, fatty ramen. In addition to "Ramen" with a lot of back fat floating on the top, "Parko Ramen" seems to be the signature dish.

Trader Main Store" on May 23.

Trader Honten", which had been operating on Chuo Dori, completed its relocation and reopened in a new building on May 23, 2024 (Thu) at 11:00 a.m. The new building was built on the site of the former "Trader No. 3" and has eight floors, from the first basement to the seventh floor, and the new building takes over the products sold at the former "Trader Main Store. The former "Trader's Main Store" building is scheduled to be demolished in June.

Akihabara is a town where various stores open and close daily. On May 6 (Mon.), the cafe "Becks Coffee Shop" and sushi restaurant "Uzushio" in front of the Electric Town exit of JR Akihabara Station, which is the entrance to Akihabara, were closed.
