Galactic trading simulation "Dark Star One Nintendo Switch Edition" will be released on June 20, 2024!

Dark Star One is a galactic trading simulation developed as a PC game by the German company Ascalon in 2006. Based on the original story by science fiction author Claudia Kern, who also participated in writing the world's longest-running German space opera novel series, "Space Hero Perry Rodin," the game has been loved by PC users for its epic space opera, challenging shooting action, and highly flexible adventure. After almost 20 years, "Dark Star One" is now available on Nintendo Switch. This is the first Japanese localized version of the game.

The Story

Simon Jarvis, a security company employee, dies unexpectedly during a top-secret mission. His business partner and friend, Robert, appoints Simon's son, Chiron, as an escort pilot and entrusts him with the spaceship "Dark Star One," which Simon left behind. Later, Chiron learns from Robert that his father, Simon, was killed in a sabotage attack by Jack, a former fellow pilot. Meanwhile, the Galactic Union (GU) stations are attacked one after another, and a major space war is about to erupt once again in the galaxy.
